I am very proud of my relationships with my clients and I'm always delighted when my clients take the time to let me know that I've helped them make a change.
“My coach, Lizzy Daniel, has really challenged me and allowed me to take a good look at what I want and how I achieve it. I loved the way she supported and encouraged me through her highly accurate listening and feedback skills. I found the sessions exciting, fun, enjoyable and highly thought-provoking, whilst she’s always been very patient and understanding.” Adina
“I found the coaching sessions with Lizzy very useful as, prior to the session, I was unsure as to what it would entail and how it could be applied to both professional and personal scenarios. The conversations that took place have led me to understand the importance of being clear and focused on what I want to achieve and to recognise the blockers that may exist. I think the coaching sessions would be useful for other members of our department in order to help with their career and personal development” Laura
“ When I started the coaching I had no idea how to go about marketing myself and was convinced I would never find any clients. Working with Lizzy has changed that completely. Her supportive attitude and meaningful questioning helped me to break my overall “marketing” goal down into bite sized goals that I felt I could manage one by one.
Lizzy managed to get to the bottom of my belief that I couldn’t do it and change that into a real belief that I could and it opened the door for me to stop stressing over it and actually take the first steps to doing it. As I achieved each goal my confidence soared because I realised that I was going to be able to market myself effectively.
Lizzy’s coaching has taken me from not knowing where to start to not only having a marketing plan in place but actually doing the marketing and even getting my first enquiries. The regular coaching sessions with Lizzy have made a huge impact on helping me to achieve my goal and I am truly grateful to her for her understanding and skill in moving me forward" Anna
“I found my coaching sessions with Lizzy very beneficial at this time of my life. I was able to move past a fear of completing my practical assessment. During these session I learnt a lot about myself and what was actually achievable, I realised I can achieve the things in mind if I break everything down and look at every aspect before making the steps to ensure success.
Lizzy held a wonderful space that allowed me to express myself honestly without feeling judges even when I was not able to achieve my actions, due to unforeseen circumstances. I am feeling much more confident in myself and have the enthusiasm and excitement to keep moving forward thanks to these sessions.” Leah
“I’ve realised that I am blessed with abundant resources for achieving my goals. I need to reward myself for working hard towards my goals. Thank you, Lizzy for all your support.” Anita
"During the sessions with Lizzy, we decided on my overall goal for the session and how likely I am to achieve it on a scale of 1 – 10. We then worked on what I need to do to achieve that goal so break it down into smaller tasks, set a date to do it by and at the end of each session, the number has always gone up once I have got clearer about what I need to do to achieve that week’s goals. Knowing that I’ll be reporting back to Lizzy each week also means I am more likely to do my goals. As a result of the sessions I have set myself deadlines to achieve which otherwise I wouldn’t have done and by setting deadlines and having the coaching calls, I have got more done than I would have done otherwise.” Sarah
"Lizzie’s style of coaching is such that she opens up the session you by asking you to establish a clear goal. Throughout the session she returns to the goal and asks you to read it back. This helps to keep you focused. I like the way she challenges you through the options phase. Her strategy appears to be to get you to brainstorm your options and then score them in terms of priority combined with easiest to hardest. Having given them a score for priority her strategy is to establish commitment score for each of the focus options. This is then followed by identifying not only a date but also a time so by the end of the coaching session you really feel confident that you are going to meet a next step.
Each coaching session acts as a building block from the previous one. I really like the fact that even before the coaching began that she would always remind you of confidentiality and little housekeeping bits like, “have you got pen and paper ready?”
Her ability lies in giving you praise throughout the session but also allowing you time for reflecting during her summary of reality or options.
The transformation between the processes of the first coaching sessions to the last has meant the feeling of being overwhelmed, frustrated and lacking in focus has been replaced by motivation, excitement and optimism. Having secured two days a week consultancy, which has added to my self-confidence and I feel that I will be able to verbalise my specialism to others by April. Anne
